What made you decide to join BPT?

I was over 50 years old and close to 300 pounds. I had so many aches and pains–knee problems, back problems, breathing problems. Normal things, like getting in and out of the car, were hard. I knew I had to do something, but I had no confidence anything would work, and was afraid I would hurt myself if I just started exercising without help. I was referred to BPT by a friend who had worked out there for years, and I felt immediately comfortable with the trainers there. 

How long have you been training with us?

I’ve been training with BPT for 7 years, and I’ve had 3 trainers in that time. I especially love working with Mary, because she is very, very smart about planning the workouts, she’s got a great sense of humor, and she gets me to do more than I would have ever imagined, without acting like a drill sergeant. She takes a personal interest in me beyond my physical fitness.
